The Indiana Terminus for Gubernatorial Vetoes, Amendment 3, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Indiana on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the state constitution be amended to permit the governor seven days in which to veto legislation and to clarify certain procedures for handling vetoed legislation[1]
