Jaime E. Tijerina
Jaime E. Tijerina was the judge of the 92nd District Court in Texas.[1] He was appointed by Governor Rick Perry on October 3, 2013, but lost election to a full term in 2014.[2][3]

Tijerina ran for re-election to the 92nd District Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 36.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Luis Manuel Singleterry.

Education
Tijerina earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas-Pan American, going on to receive his J.D. from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.[2]
Career
Tijerina served as a Kenedy County attorney from 2001 until his judicial appointment in 2013. He was also the owner and managing partner of Tijerina Ranch.[2]
