James R. Biles

James R. Biles is a magistrate judge for the Thirtieth Judicial Districtin Kansas. He presides over Harper and Sumner counties.[1] Biles was appointed in November of 2012.[2] He was retained in 2014 for a term that expired on January 13, 2019.[3]

Education
Biles received both his B.A. in 1973 and his master's degree in 1974 from Emporia State University. He received his J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986.[4]
