Jeffery Magrum (Republican Party) (also known as Huff) is a member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 8. He assumed office on December 1, 2022. His current term ends on December 1, 2028.
Magrum (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the North Dakota State Senate to represent District 8. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Jeffery Magrum's career experience includes working as a businessman and a rancher. He served as the mayor of Hazelton, North Dakota, and has been affiliated with the Beaver Valley Horse Club and Voices for Lake Oahe.[1]

2012
Magrum ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota State House District 28. Magrum and Barton Schott were defeated by incumbents Michael Don Brandenburg and William Kretschmar in the Republican primary on June 12. Joan Hoffman and Austin Wald ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7] According to unofficial election night results, Kretschmar leads Magrum by 13 votes. This slim lead triggered an automatic recount. Official results showed Kretschmar with a nine vote lead over Magrum.[8][9]
