Jennifer Ranji

Jennifer Ranji is a judge on the Delaware Family Court in New Castle County. She was appointed by Governor Jack Markell (D) on October 13, 2015, and confirmed by the Delaware General Assembly on October 28. She succeeded Judge William L. Chapman, Jr.[1][2]
Education
Ranji received a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a J.D. from Widener University.[3]
Career
Ranji has served as the secretary of the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families. She was also an educational policy advisor to Governor Markell. She has worked in private practice and has done pro bono work with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services and the Office of the Child Advocate. Ranji also served as deputy legal counsel to Governor Thomas Carper and as the director of legal affairs for the Delaware Family Court.[1]
