John David Myles was a family court judge for the Anderson, Shelby and Spencer Counties Family Court of the 53rd Judicial Circuit. It serves Anderson, Shelby, and Spencer counties in Kentucky.[1]

Myles was elected to the court on November 7, 2006, and took office on January 1, 2007.[2] His term expired in January 2015 when he was defeated in his 2014 bid for re-election.[3]

Myles ran for re-election to the 53rd Judicial Circuit.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 30.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Marie Hellard and Susan M. Meschler.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 36.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Marie Hellard. [3][4] 

Education

Myles received his undergraduate degree from Centre College of Kentucky and his J.D. from the University of Louisville School of Law.[5]
