Joseph D. Floyd ran for the Superior Court in the 18th Judicial District of North Carolina in 2010.

2010 election

Floyd was defeated by incumbent Lindsay R. Davis, Jr. in the general election, receiving 38.95% of the vote.[1]

Withdrawing from race

Floyd was arrested in July 2010. In August 2010, he announced that he was withdrawing from the race for the Superior Court.[2][3] However, his name is still on the ballot.
