Joseph E. Fahey
Joseph E. Fahey was a judge for the Onondaga County Court in New York. He joined the court in 1997, following his election in 1996.[1] Fahey retired on January 1, 2016.[2]
Education
Fahey received his B.S. from the University of Tennessee in 1971 and his J.D. from the Syracuse University School of Law in 1975. He later earned his LLM degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2003.[1]
Career
Fahey began his career in 1976 as a senior staff attorney of the Frank H. Hiscock Legal Aid Society. He worked in that capacity until 1979. He also worked as a partner of the law firm Wiles & Fahey and taught as an adjunct professor of the Syracuse University College of Law prior to becoming a County Court judge in 1997.[1]
