I am a math teacher who has 2 children who are/ will be attending Penn manor school district. I have been in education for a long time and want to use my expertise to help give back to the Penn manor community.
  • Fair wages for our support staff, janitors, and cafeteria workers
  • Keep our libraries as a place for student learning: no book banning
  • Be financially responsible and make sure our funds go to the things that best support our students
I am a public school teacher and believe in the power of our public schools. Penn manor currently has excellent finances and should be concerned with using that money to improve the learning experiences of all of our students.
I am an honest trustworthy person. I am willing to admit I am wrong and listen to others opinions on topics. I care about people and think our differences make us stronger. I am guided by my faith to be a moral and ethical person.
I have been a teacher my whole career (besides being a waiter in high school and college).
I just finished reading dune and I loved it. I am definitely a sucker for science fiction (Star Trek and Star Wars are both great!)
A school board member needs to make sure students are provided with the best education possible. This includes making sure resources go to the best places for students, providing opportunities for students to begin higher education, and protecting students so they feel comfortable and can excel in school.
My constituents are the students of Penn manor and the Penn manor community at large. We can provide an amazing education for all kids in our district while being respectful of the community. Smart students lead to a strong community.
I will listen to the stake holders and rely on my experience in education to make decisions that are best for our students. This includes listening to differing view points in the main issues that’s face our current students
