I am a retired senior on a fixed income that has lived in Yucaipa for 27 years. I am the only candidate that is a home owner in my district. I have time to devote and make myself accessible to the voters in my district to discuss their concerns. I will represent all residents in my district.
  • I believe the quality of life is the biggest issue. Putting all our eggs in one basket and relying on the passage of an unpopular tax hike in order to balance the budget is not the answer.
  • I consider the Planning Commission very important. If elected I will make sure my selection and appointment to Planning Commission will have a background in Land Use, Developments need to follow the General Plan and zoning. No exceptions!
  • City Hall needs to live within their budget. Promote adequate budgeting for essentials such as public safety and infrastructure. City needs to get out of the entertainment business and get back to basics.

The day President Kennedy was shot. I was in my early 20’s, married and the mother of 3 children
I’ve not run or held public office before. I’m not a professional campaigner or politician. I have had the advantage of years of listening, learning and doing things. There will be times I depend on people I trust to advise me until I become accustomed to the job, that’s why it is a 4 year term.
