Kathleen M. Dailey was a judge for Position 25 of the Oregon 4th Judicial District Circuit Court. She assumed office in 2004. She left office on January 31, 2022.
Dailey won re-election without opposition in the primary election on May 17, 2016. She retired from the court effective January 31, 2022.[1]
Biography
Dailey graduated from the University of Oregon in June 1981 with a degree in history. In 1984 she earned her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.[2][3]

Selection method

Judges of the Oregon Supreme Court, Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Circuit Courts are all selected in an identical manner. They are chosen in nonpartisan elections to serve six-year terms, after which they must run for re-election if they wish to continue serving.[4]
The chief judges of the circuit courts are appointed by the chief justice of the state supreme court to serve a two-year term.[4]
Qualifications
To serve on the circuit court, a judge must be:[4]
- a U.S. citizen;
- a state resident for at least three years;
- a resident of his or her circuit for at least one year;
- a state bar member; and
- under the age of 75.

Dailey was re-elected to the Multnomah County Circuit Court in 2010 after running unopposed. She received 98.56 percent of the vote.[5]
