Kathryn S. Paek
Kathryn S. Paek is a judge on the New York City Criminal Court in New York. She was nominated to the court by Mayor Bill de Blasio, and approved by the Mayor’s Advisory Committee in a public hearing on February 12, 2015. Paek was the first female Korean-American judge in the New York courts.[1][2][3]
Education
Paek earned her J.D. from Northwestern University.[4]
Career
Before she became a judge for the New York City Criminal Court, Paek served as a principal court attorney in the Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term. Prior to that, she served as chief of staff for the Office of Policy and Planning of New York State Office of Court Administration.[4][5]
