Kenneth M. Burns is a judge for the 14th Chancery District of Mississippi. He was elected to the position in 2003.[1][2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and will expire in 2018.[3][4]

Education

Burns earned a B.S. from Mississippi State University in 1969, going on to receive his J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1972.[1]

Career

Prior to his judicial election in 2003, Burns worked for thirteen years as a municipal judge. He was also a company commander in the Mississippi National Guard and a school board hearing officer.[1]
