Kevin W. Dunn is a judge on the Medina County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division in Medina, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by Governor John Kasich to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of former judge John J. Lohn. He assumed office on August 5, 2013, and ran for election in November 2014 to retain the seat for the full term commencing on February 9, 2015.[1] Dunn was successful, winning a term that expired on February 8, 2021.[2]

Dunn ran for re-election to the Medina County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division.
General: He defeated David C. Sheldon in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 64.5 percent of the vote. [3] 

Education

Dunn received his undergraduate degree in political science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.[1]

Career

Before he became a judge, Dunn served as a prosecutor for the City of Medina, Ohio, from 2012 until his appointment to the court in July 2013. He had also maintained a private law practice for twenty-two years.[1][4]
