A Lake School District Levy Addition measure was on the August 2, 2011 ballot in the Lake school district area which is in both Ottawa and Wood Counties.
This measure was defeated

This measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of 4.75 mills for a continuing period of time in order to help pay for current expenses of the school district.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| An additional tax for the benefit of the Lake Local School District for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding four and seventy-five hundredths (4.75) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to forty-seven and five tenths cents ($0.475) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3] |
