Laurel S. Brady

Laurel S. Brady is a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County in California. She was appointed to the Richmond Municipal Court in October 1996 by former governor Pete Wilson. Brady was then elevated to the Superior Court in June 1998 through court unification. She won re-election unopposed in 2010 and her current term will expire in January 2017.[1][2]
Education
Brady received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego and a J.D. from the Golden Gate School of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County, Brady worked as a law clerk in the Marin County Superior Court and in the California Attorney General's Office.[2]
