Leah Jane Seaton is a judge on the First Circuit Court for Wicomico County in Maryland.[1] She was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley on May 26, 2011 to replace retired Judge Donald C. Davis.[2] Seaton assumed office on June 17, 2011 and was elected to a full fifteen-year term in November 2012.[3][4]

Education

Seaton received her undergraduate degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1978 and her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1981.[3]

Seaton ran unopposed for her appointed seat on the Wicomico County.[6] She was successful in her bid, receiving 99.3% of the vote.[7][8]
