Lewis O. Sams is the judge of the 39th Judicial District in Louisiana.[1] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[2][3]

Sams received his B.S. from Louisiana Tech University and his J.D. from Loyola University - New Orleans. He was admitted to the bar in 1988.[4]
