Lillis J. Brown was a judge of the Rockdale County Probate Court in Georgia.[1] She joined the court in 1993 and was the first female judge to serve in Rockdale County.[2] Brown retired in January 2013.[3]

Education

Brown received her undergraduate degree from Mercer University and her J.D. from John Marshall Law School.[2]

Career

Brown began her legal career with the Rockdale County District Attorney's Office. Later she served as clerk of the magistrate court and assistant magistrate judge.[2]
