Campaign themes
Witte's campaign website listed the following campaign themes for 2013:[1]
"My desire to serve the city and students of Manchester on the Board of School Committee stems from both my experiences as an educator and my perspectives as a parent of a child in the Manchester School District. I believe that every child learns, every day. It is the role of all stakeholders in the school system and community to ensure that we are providing a safe environment where that learning can take place, be encouraged, fostered, and developed; where the barriers to that learning can be recognized, reduced or removed; and where the successes of that learning are recognized and celebrated." |
