Campaign themes
2014
A pamphlet issued by the school district included Christoffel's campaign statement for 2014:
“ | My children have been in the Greece Schools for the past 14 years. I have one student who will still be in school next year
as a ninth-grader. I am very concerned, having seen what’s happening across the state through my PTA work, that my youngest son has as good an education as my older two. With severe budget gaps and significant opposition to current educational direction in Albany, districts are challenger to deliver high quality education. I want to use my experience in business and PTA to help us make the right choices. I have financial and budgeting background, as well as an analytical mind and desire to use those skills to improve our schools. I have also attended dozens of state PTA trainings and I feel I understand the issues facing the district very well.[4] |
