The Maine Judicial Power Article Referendum, also known as Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 5, was on the November 3, 1964 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure repealed and replaced Article VI of the Maine Constitution, which outlines the powers of the judicial branch.[2] [3]
