Margaret L. Sauer is former associate circuit court judge for the 16th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri. She was appointed to the court in 2000 by former Governor Mel Carnahan. On February 9, 2014, Sauer passed away at the age of sixty-two.

Education

Sauer received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1983.

Career

Before she became a judge, Sauer served as a deputy probate commissioner for the 16th Circuit Court from 1991 to 2000. She also previously served as legal counsel for the probate division of the 16th Circuit Court.

2010

Sauer was retained to the 16th Circuit Court on November 2, 2010, receiving 65.2% of the vote.
