Margaret L. Sauer is former associate circuit court judge for the 16th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri.[1] She was appointed to the court in 2000 by former Governor Mel Carnahan. On February 9, 2014, Sauer passed away at the age of sixty-two.[2]

Education

Sauer received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1983.[2]

Career

Before she became a judge, Sauer served as a deputy probate commissioner for the 16th Circuit Court from 1991 to 2000. She also previously served as legal counsel for the probate division of the 16th Circuit Court.[2]

2010

Sauer was retained to the 16th Circuit Court on November 2, 2010, receiving 65.2% of the vote.[3]
