Marian Abdou
Marian Abdou is a member of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. She assumed office on June 28, 2023.
Abdou was nominated to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) on March 6, 2023 to replace Dianne Solomon.[1]
Abdou was confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate on May 22, 2023, and took office on June 28, 2023. [2]
Biography
Abdou earned her bachelor's degree, MBA, and J.D. from Rutgers University. [3]
Prior to being appointed to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Abdou served as managing senior counsel at NRG Energy. She also worked for the Hess Corporation as legal counsel. [4]
