Mark K. Chase is a judge for Part D of the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. Chase assumed office on July 4, 2023. Chase's current term ends in 2039.
New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner elevated Chase to the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division on July 7, 2023.[1]
Governor Chris Christie (R) nominated Chase to the New Jersey Superior Court in May 2017. He was confirmed by the New Jersey Senate in June.[2]
Biography
Chase earned his bachelor's degree in American history from Connecticut College in 1991, his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1995, and an additional degree from Temple University School of Law in 2002. He spent the majority of his law career in the prosecutor's office, including as the First Assistant Prosecutor.[3][4]
