The Maryland Mandate for Budget Allocations Amendment, also known as Question 6, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the general assembly to enact laws to mandate the governor to provide for the funding of specified programs.[1]
