A McCabe Union Elementary School District Bond Issue, Measure G ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the McCabe Union Elementary School District in Imperial County, California. It was approved.

Measure G authorized the district to increase its debt by $7 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. The bonds were designed to be repaid in a minimum of 25 years after being issued with an additional property tax rate of $27 per $100,000 of assessed property value.[1]

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure G.

Ballot question

The question on the ballot:[1]

To protect the quality of educational facilities, increase access to computers and modern technology, enhance student safety, modernize outdated classrooms, construct a gymnasium/multipurpose facility for school and community use, and qualify the District to receive State grants, shall McCabe Union Elementary School District be authorized to issue $7,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with annual financial and performance audits, an independent citizens’ oversight committee and no money for administrator salaries?[2]
