Michael L. Greer

Michael L. Greer is a judge for the Third Circuit Court of Uinta County, Wyoming. He was appointed by former Gov. Dave Freudenthal in July 2006 to replace Thomas Mealey. He was retained in 2008, 2012, and 2016.[1][2][3]
Biography
Greer received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the University of Wyoming in 1983.[1] Greer has worked as the town attorney of Lyman, a staff attorney for the Child Support Services of Wyoming, and a deputy county attorney and prosecutor for Uinta and Fremont counties. Prior to his judicial appointment, from 2003 to 2006, he was the Uinta County attorney.[1]

Wyoming held retention elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. Judges up for election in 2016 had to file for retention races by May 27, 2016. Michael L. Greer was retained in the Wyoming Third Circuit Court (Greer Seat) election with 79.31 percent of the vote. [3]
