Michael R. Rader is a judge for the Vigo County Superior Court in Indiana. He was elected in 2008 and took office in January 2009.[1] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2]

Education

Rader received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis in 1973, and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1976. He received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1995.[4]

Career

From 2000 until his election to the court, Rader was a public defender in Vigo County. He also worked in private practice. Rader was the associate medical director of Healthsource of Indiana from 1993 to 1997. He has worked as a physician at Pfizer, Inc., and in a private medical practice.[4]
