Michael S. Walsh
Michael S. Walsh is a senior judge of District 3B of Iowa. He was first appointed to this court in 1982 and served as chief judge from 2003 to 2007. He retired from the bench on December 31, 2007 and assumed senior status.[1][2]
Biography and Education
Walsh was born in Sioux City, IA. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Dakota in 1965 and 1968, respectively. During college, from 1962 to 1968, he served in the Air National Guard. He is now married with three children.[1]
Career
Walsh worked as a private practice lawyer and as the Sioux City attorney prior to joining the court.[1]
