Patricia Bernard (D)
I am for protecting women’s rights. I do not understand how reproductive rights have become a community conversation. I am part of the pro-choice majority in this country, and will always fight to protect abortion rights. I will do everything under my power if elected as State Representative District 55 to support residents of Michigan. I will push back against efforts to put these decisions in the hands of government, instead of with us and our doctors, where it belongs. I'm also for equal access to overall quality health care and reducing the cost of prescription drugs by eliminating price gouging! We must address mental health issues head on and provide more mental health professionals to our community schools.
Enough is enough! Gun control policies must be updated to include safe gun storage, background checks, red flag laws and increase age from 18 to 21 for AR-15 purchases.

Patricia Bernard (D)
I am for protecting our democracy, women rights, voter rights, individual rights, civil rights which are all under attack. Gun policies must be refined to reduce the current gun violence that is happening in our country.
Education is the foundation of our country. We must maintain quality education and make sure there is equal access to quality schools in all districts. Mental health is a priority and the root cause of a lot of current issues in todays society. Therefore medical professionals are needed in our schools and should work along with our police departments.
As a CEO of a semi truck company, I have been able to deliver essential products to major food chains, automotive factories and medical supplies to fill empty shelves. Therefore, I feel the pain daily and understand the need for access to capital. Small businesses have suffered tremendously due to supply chain issues, high fuel cost, long lead times for parts especially due to the pandemic and current war.
I realize there is a lot to digest here but all of the above issues are all part of the needs of our working families!
