Nadine Allen was a judge for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in Hamilton County, Ohio. She was appointed by former Governor Ted Strickland on December 15, 2009, and was elected to the court on November 6, 2012 for a six-year term commencing on April 1, 2013.[1][2][3] She retired in August 2016.[4]

Allen received her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University in 1972 and her J.D. from the Capital University Law School in 1977.[2]

Allen was one of two Democrats competing for two seats in the general election on November 6, 2012. Allen was elected to the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas, winning 32.46 percent of the vote.[6]

In 2010, Judge Allen ran for election to her appointed seat on the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. She defeated Megan E. Shanahan in the general election, winning 52.26 percent of the vote.[8][1]
