Nancy K. Kopp
Nancy K. Kopp was the Maryland Treasurer. She assumed office in 2002. She left office on December 17, 2021.
Biography
Following her graduation from college, Kopp served on the staff of U.S. Representative Edith Green and the House Committee on Education and Labor from 1966-1971. In 1974, she joined the Maryland House of Delegates and served in that position until she was elected as Maryland State Treasurer in 2002.[1]

Political career
Maryland Treasurer (2002-Present)
First elected in 2002, Kopp is the 23rd Maryland State Treasurer and the second woman to ever hold the position.[2]
Maryland House of Delegates (1974-2002)
Kopp represented the Bethesda area in the Maryland House of Delegates for 27 years from 1974-2002. At various times during her legislative career Kopp served as deputy majority leader and speaker pro tem.[2]

Kopp was re-elected and sworn in as Maryland Treasurer by the Maryland General Assembly on February 24, 2011.[3]
2007
Kopp was re-elected and sworn in as Maryland Treasurer by the Maryland General Assembly on February 1, 2007.[3]
2003
Kopp was re-elected as Maryland Treasurer by the Maryland General Assembly on January 31, 2003, and sworn in on February 4, 2003.[3]
2002
Kopp was first elected as Maryland Treasurer by the Maryland General Assembly on February 5, 2002, and sworn in on February 14, 2002.[3]
