Natalie Damgaard

Natalie Damgaard is a judge for the South Dakota Second Judicial Circuit. She was appointed by Gov. Dennis Daugaard (R) on July 14, 2016, to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Patricia C. Riepel.[1]
Damgaard was a magistrate judge for the Second Judicial Circuit in South Dakota.[2] She replaced retired Judge Doyle L. Sage in January 2011.[3] Damgaard served as a magistrate judge until her appointment as a circuit court judge in July 2016.[1]
Education
Damgaard received her J.D. from the University of South Dakota Law School.[3]
Career
Before her appointment to the court, Damgaard worked as an attorney at Janklow Law Firm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.[3]
