New Florida Circuit Court judge elected without opposition
May 11, 2010
Florida: Attorney Christopher Patterson has been elected as judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit without opposition. He was elected to the Group 5 seat of the court; previously made vacant by the retirement of Don T. Sirmons at the end of 2010, who said, "I think he’ll do an excellent job." Although general elections on Florida do not take place until November 2 of this year, qualifying for the races ended in April with no one else qualified to run against Patterson.[1]
