The New York Proposed Amendment Two, Replacement of Article XIX, also known as Proposed Amendment 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The referendum would have repealed and replaced Article XIX of the state constitution.[1]
