No interim appointment to replace Judge Tobin

Columbiana County, Ohio: Gov. Strickland, in an effort to save money, has decided not to appoint an interim judge for the remainder of Judge David Tobin's seat on the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas. Instead, visiting judges will serve on an as-needed basis through the end of 2010, when a new judge, elected in the November general election, will take office. Scott A. Washam and Melissa Byers-Emmerling are seeking election to this post.[1]
