Ohio 1933 ballot measures
In 1933, voters decided on four statewide ballot measures in Ohio on November 7.
- One was an indirect initiated state statutes.
- Two were initiated constitutional amendments.
- One was a legislatively referred constitutional amendment.
- Voters approved four (100%) and rejected zero (0%).
At the election on November 7, 1933, voters also decided on electing delegates to a state constitutional convention related to repealing the 18th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Electors voted for slates of candidates—'For Ratification,' 'Against Ratification,' and 'Unpledged.' There were no candidates for 'Unpledged.' The vote was 1,444,033 (71.20%) 'For Ratification' to 584,238 (28.80%) 'Against Ratification.'[1][2]
