Patricia M. Summe is the chief circuit court judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Kenton County of Kentucky.[1] She was elected to the court in 1994.[2]

Summe was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning an eight-year term that expires on January 1, 2023.[3][4]

Education

Summe received her undergraduate degree in political science from Xavier University in 1975 and her J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.[2][5]

Career

Before her election to the court in 1994, Summe worked as an attorney in private practice. She first worked at her father's law practice and, after his death, continued the practice with her brother.[2]
