Paul L. Freed is a judge of the Fayette County Superior Court in Indiana. He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[1]

Education

Freed received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Bloomington. While working at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Freed earned a Master of Public Affairs and an M.S. in environmental science from Indiana University-Bloomington. In 2000, he earned his J.D. from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.[3]

Career

After earning his undergraduate degree, Freed worked with the Defense Department at the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane, Indiana for five years. Freed has practiced law in Connersville for nearly 12 years. He has served for almost nine years as the deputy prosecuting attorney in Fayette County. Freed also teaches organizational behavior and public finance as a part-time adjunct instructor at Indiana University East.[3]
