Peter L. Fuge
Peter L. Fuge was a family court judge for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] Fuge was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2008. He was re-elected in 2016 and retired on December 31, 2019.[2][3] Fuge passed away on June 5, 2022.[4]
Education
Fuge received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1974.[2]
Career
After graduating from law school, Fuge practiced law with the firm of Dowling, Dowling, Sanders & Dukes. He then joined the firm of Harvey & Battey, P.A. From 1995 until his election to the court in 2008, Fuge worked as a solo practitioner.[2]
