Peter Smola

Peter Smola is a probate and family court justice for the Bristol Probate and Family Court in Bristol County, Massachusetts.[1][2] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on May 8, 2013, and was confirmed by the Governor's Council on July 3, 2013. Smola was sworn into office on August 16, 2013.[3][4][5]
Education
Smola received his undergraduate degree from Clark University in 1972 and his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1978.[4]
Career
Before he became a judge, Smola worked as an attorney in private practice in New Bedford, Massachusetts, specializing in domestic, estate, and worker's compensation law.[4]
