R. Joel Laird, Jr
R Joel Laird, Jr. was a judge of Circuit 7 in Alabama.[1] He retired from the court when his term expired on January 18, 2011.[2]
2010 election
Laird, Jr. lost the race for re-election. He was defeated by Republican Debra H. Jones in the general election.[3]

Judge Laird attended the University of Alabama for his Bachelor of Science and the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University for his J.D.[4]
Career
Laird was appointed to the 7th Circuit Court in 1990.[5]
