R. Bruce Williamson (Maine)
R. Bruce Williamson was a member of the Maine Public Utilities Commission from 2015 to 2021. He was appointed to the commission by Gov. Paul LePage (R) in June 2015.[1]
Biography
Williamson received a Ph.D. in economics, with a focus on utility economics from the University of New Mexico. Prior to his appointment to the public utilities commission, Williamson was a senior economist at the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee. He also worked as a research professor in data analytics. Before his work in academia, Williamson was an economist at the National Defense Business Institute and the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.[1]
