Dooley ran for election to the Miami-Dade County Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 19.5 percent of the vote. She competed against Jacqueline Schwartz and Frank C. Bocanegra.

Education
Dooley earned her B.A. from the American University in 1991 and her J.D. from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 1996.[3]
Career
Dooley's experience includes working as a private trial attorney, as an assistant state attorney, and serving as a law clerk for the Eleventh Circuit Court.[3]
