Robert E. Watson (b. September 27, 1948) is a master-in-equity for Berkeley County, South Carolina.[1] Watson was appointed to this position on September 1, 2002.[2]
Education
Watson earned his B.S. in business administration from the University of South Carolina in 1970. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1973. He is now married to Elizabeth A. Watson, and they have four children.[2]
Career
Watson began practicing law with R. Markley Dennis Jr., for the law firm of Senator Rembert C. Dennis and R. Markley Dennis Sr. He then joined the law firm of Watson and Creech, which later became Watson, Creech, Tiencken and West. During this time, he also served as assistant solicitor for the Ninth Judicial Circuit and town attorney for the Town of Moncks Corner. He was then appointed to the position of master-in-equity of Berkeley County on September 1, 2002. He has served in that position since.[2]
