Robert Hofmann (Texas)
Robert Hofmann is the judge of the 452nd District Court in Texas. He was appointed by Governor Rick Perry on August 29, 2013, upon the creation of the district.[1][2] Hofmann was re-elected to the court in 2014 for a term that expires in 2018.[3]
Education
Hofmann earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, going on to receive his J.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment, Hofmann was the presiding judge of the Child Protection Court of the Hill Country. He was also previously an attorney in Mason County.[1]

Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 72.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Bruce L. James.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
