Robert Hood elected to 5th Circuit

South Carolina: The South Carolina General Assembly elected Robert Eldon Hood to the 5th Judicial Circuit, Seat 3 on February 1, 2012.[1] The 5th Circuit contains Kershaw and Richland counties.

Prior to his election as judge, Hood was a private practice attorney in Columbia. From 2001 to 2005 Hood worked as a prosecutor with the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Office and the Attorney General’s office. Since 2005, he has been with the Strom Law Firm. Hood received his law degree from the University of South Carolina Law School in 2001.[2]
