Campaign themes
2014
Juarez's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]
Immigration Reform
- Excerpt: "The issue of Immigration Reform continues to be a vital element in deciding what path a state can take. I believe the time for REFORM has elapsed and both principal political parties have squandered a great opportunity. If elected, I cannot grant REFORM at the National level; however I will create legislation that will prevent Nevada from becoming a Conflicted State and what I mean by that is I don't want Nevada to be caught up in the animosity of racial divide."
Economic Reform
- Excerpt: "The issue of Energy is one that must be addressed with regard to the economy. At a time when the unemployment rate is 8.2% in Las Vegas, and foreclosures and bankruptcies continue to plague the city and the state, I ask why is there not a justifiable answer to theses problems with respect to the ongoing increase in Energy. If elected, I will seek reasonable solutions to the problems by working with lenders in assisting in the prevention of home owners losing there homes. I will support small businesses in their ongoing struggle to overcome government bureaucracy. And I will hold the monopolies accountable in order to give the average citizen a fighting chance."
Education Reform
- Excerpt: "If elected I will not vote for a Federal Mandate or State Sponsored Bill that will damage Nevada's student's or educator's. I will seek to prevent the Common Core Initiative from being implemented and I will seek accountability from the School Board and the Superintendent."
