Ronald R. Hare

Ronald R. Hare was a Utah Fourth Judicial District judge for Millard County, Utah for the East Millard County Justice Court.[1] Judge Hare was first sworn in to this position in January 1979.[2] He resigned on January 1, 2011.[3]

Hare was successfully retained in 2010.

Education

Hare received his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in June of 1971. He then worked in private practice as sole practitioner in Fillmore. Hare was sworn in as the Justice Court judge for the East Millard Justice Court in January of 1979. He has served in that position since.[2]

Disorderly conduct

For acts committed on July 9, 2010, Judge Hare was charged with a Class B misdemeanor of disorderly conduct. He was charged with allegedly engaging in sexual conduct and/or exposing himself under the Salt Lake City municipal code.[4]

In 2011, he was censured by the Utah Supreme Court for exposing himself in a public restroom.[5]
